According to this information, from time to time, a limited edition rare item will appear in the "armory" that cannot be purchased directly for a fixed price. Players will be able to compete for it by bidding with special stars, and the auction will be blind — participants won't be able to see each other's bids. The winner will be the one who places the most stars by the time the auction timer runs out. All stars placed by losing bidders will be lost, unless the player cancels their bid before the timer ends.

One of the unique lots in this auction will be the "chicken egg" — a very unusual cosmetic item. According to Gabe Follower, this item will have three stages: an egg, a newly hatched chick, and an adult chicken. When the chicken hatches, a unique pattern will be generated for each account. The chicken can be fed, picked up, placed on the ground, and displayed in the player's main menu — essentially, it will be a virtual pet similar to a "Tamagotchi."
