Legacy ended Team Vitality’s impressive 30-match winning streak in the first round of Stage 3 at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in CS2. For Dan “apEX” Madesclaire’s squad, this was their first defeat since January 2025.

Team Vitality faced off against Legacy on Inferno, where the Brazilian team emerged victorious with a dominant 13-3 scoreline. The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is taking place from June 3 to June 22, with teams competing for a $1.25 million prize pool. Legacy was originally not supposed to participate in the tournament, as they failed to qualify through the regional qualifiers. However, the team was invited as a replacement for BESTIA, whose players couldn’t secure their visas in time to travel to the U.S. Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer’s squad started their run from Stage 1.
