Senzu Breaks NiKo’s 9-Year Major Kill Record at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025
Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold from The MongolZ has broken the record for the most kills on a single map at a Major during BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in CS2. He racked up 54 frags in a match against G2 on Dust 2.
The previous world record was held by Nikola “NiKo” Kovač for nine years. NiKo scored 52 kills at MLG Columbus 2016 while playing for mousesports against Flipsid3 Tactics. The Bosnian needed 59 rounds to reach that mark, while Senzu did it in just 53.
The MongolZ defeated G2 2-0 to secure a spot in the Major playoffs in Austin. They beat their opponents on Ancient (13:6) and Dust 2 (28:25). Senzu, the new record holder, was also named the best player of the match.
Senzu briefly commented on the achievement, revealing that he changed his crosshair before the second map. The rifler also noted that he got quite lucky during the game.
The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is running from June 3 to June 22, featuring a $1.25 million prize pool.
