S1mple used cheats against FaZe — and still lost

It seems s1mple won’t be joining (FaZe) after all — but content featuring him is still coming out. In a new video filmed during the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev took on five of his FaZe teammates in a special challenge. He had wallhacks, invisibility, and unlimited money — but still lost the match 11:13.

Match conditions:

• s1mple had wallhacks and was invisible unless he made noise — shooting, jumping, running, or reloading would briefly reveal his position.

• He had infinite money and could buy whatever he wanted every round.

• The five FaZe players (including coach Neo) had no special perks. In fact, they lost health with every bullet they fired, so they couldn’t endlessly spray.

S1mple started on T-side and lost the pistol round right away — he pushed into a stacked A site, missed two shots, and got eliminated. After that, he stabilized the score, often using the AWP and occasionally switching to the AK-47. He moved smartly across the map and would hide after shooting to become invisible again. Still, he missed some surprisingly easy shots.

The defenders first tried sticking together and spraying with MP9s and P90s, but that didn’t work. Later in the half, they changed tactics: Neo and Karrigan scouted the map while the others waited to kill s1mple based on callouts. This adjustment earned them two rounds. At one point, Karrigan dramatically yelled:
"Okay, I’m next, I love you all, adios amigos, I love you guys... I’ll go down with the ship… I found him!"

S1mple kept trolling his teammates in chat — spamming “haha,” “ez,” “focus pls,” and other phrases both during and after rounds. He even tried to knife opponents when he could.

After the side switch, things got harder. s1mple now had to defend, guessing which site the bomb would go to. To stay invisible, he could only walk — running would expose him. At some point, they even increased the bomb timer to 50 seconds to give him a better chance.

Karrigan tried to call fake executes, but his teammates reminded him:
"What fakes? He can see us through walls!"

s1mple still pulled off some impressive clutches — but it wasn’t enough. He lost 11:13. At the end of the match, the entire (FaZe) squad shouted in unison:
"EZ!"
— winning by just two rounds against a wallhacking, invisible s1mple.
