Who will enter the HLTV Hall of Fame in 2025?
In 2024, HLTV launched its own Hall of Fame — an initiative dedicated to honoring Counter-Strike legends who have retired from professional play. The first inductees were four iconic Swedish players: f0rest, GeT_RiGhT, HeatoN, and Potti. Each of them made a significant impact on the history of esports, winning titles, redefining the game, and inspiring generations.
The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to immortalize those who not only achieved competitive success but also helped shape the culture of CS. It’s a recognition of long-term contribution to the scene — years of performances, leadership, and innovation, rather than one single tournament.
The Hall of Fame is expected to become an annual tradition. The next wave of inductees may be announced during the HLTV Awards 2025 ceremony, scheduled for January 10, 2026, in Belgrade. Whoever is chosen next will undoubtedly be a figure of great historical importance to Counter-Strike.
