Imperial to sign skullz

The Brazilian esports scene may soon witness a major roster move. According to Dust2 Brasil, organization Imperial is in the final stages of negotiations with FURIA over the loan of 21-year-old rifler Felipe “skullz” Medeiros. The deal is expected to be completed in the coming days.

If the transfer goes through, skullz will replace Portuguese player José “Shr” Gil, who joined Imperial from SAW just a month and a half ago. Despite his recent arrival, Shr will leave the starting lineup after competing at the Circuito FERJEE de Esports and the CAC 2025 qualifier, scheduled for August 16–17.

Skullz’s potential debut with Imperial could come as soon as August 27 during the online stage of the BLAST Open London. The team received a direct invite to the tournament after fellow Brazilian squad paiN declined participation.

Medeiros has been on FURIA’s bench since April, when the organization loaned in Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis from Liquid. During this time, skullz had a short stint with FaZe at IEM Dallas, where he posted a 0.85 rating. That roster also temporarily featured Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev. In Dallas, the team defeated BC.Game but fell to Liquid and HEROIC.

  • Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes

  • Felipe “skullz” Medeiros (loan)
